Traci Faces the Past – When Cane Turns Out to Be Aristotle Dumas!”

Jack comes home, and Diane welcomes him, saying they have a visitor.

Traci stands up and hugs Jack. She says she’s on the way to meet Amy Lewis at Society. Amy lost her child, Damian, and Traci wants to give her the support she needs.

Traci and Jack Abbott hug.

Diane figures Amy must wish Damian had never gone to Nice… Or met Aristotle Dumas!

Traci finds it hard to wrap her head around the news that Cane is Dumas. She knew him well!

Jack remembers that Cane was an inspiration for one of Traci’s books.

Jack smiles at Traci as they sit on the sofa.

Traci remembers that Cane wanted more from her than just friends… Their relationship dissolved after she rejected him, and he left town. She says she’s working with a therapist in New York who’s helping her work through her issues stemming from Martin’s betrayal.

Diane asks how Traci feels about Cane now.

Traci says she was flattered by Cane, and has no hard feelings, but she’s shocked by the news that he was Aristotle Dumas.

Jack tells her the latest about Billy and how he’s obsessed with Chancellor and thinks Cane can help him. He says he tried to talk some sense into him, but it didn’t go well.

Traci can’t understand why Billy is focused on Chancellor… What happened to Abbott Communications?

Jack says that Billy killed the company… At first he was gung-ho on getting the company going, but then he had Sally in as CEO and chased after Chancellor instead. He then asked Jack to pull the funding, and Jack did just that. He’s afraid Billy will go to prison because of the mess he’s getting into. Billy’s gambling again!

Jack and Traci sit on the sofa as they talk.

Traci wonders how Sally feels about it.

Diane says that Sally is as unhappy as they are… She’s worried about Billy’s wellbeing and is worried about the fate of Abbott Communications.

Jack nods. Billy is rolling the dice again and is headed for disaster!

Diane Abbott.
