Billy enters the restaurant, sits down at the bar, and orders a double scotch.

Michael follows him into the restaurant. He sits down beside Billy at the bar and says he’s just there for a drink.

Billy asks him why he’s working again… He thought he was retired!

Michael says he’s not Billy’s replacement; they have different skillsets!

Billy says Cane screwed him over… Why shouldn’t he blow up his master plan? He thinks Michael should go back to his boss and tell him that he’s screwed up and will get what he deserves.

Michael says he finds Billy fascinating. He offers to buy him drinks.

Billy shrugs. He tells Michael he should get out while he can; Cane is unstable! He doesn’t want Michael risking his life for an illegal scheme.

Michael says Billy had no problem with it when it would get him what he wanted.

Billy says that he wanted Chancellor, and Cane dangled it in front of him and ripped it away. Cane has a new enemy, and he won’t like what he has planned for him next! He thanks Michael for the drink and leaves the restaurant.

Michael takes Billy’s glass, which still has some scotch left in it. He tosses it back and grimaces.

A bit later, Traci walks up to Michael. “Is this seat taken?”

Michael is happy to see her, and they hug.

Traci says she’s there to have dinner with Amy Lewis, but she texted and needed a rain check.

Michael mentions that she just missed Billy.

Cane and Phyllis walk into the restaurant and say hello. Cane gives Traci a hug.

Michael gets a text message from Lauren. “Finished with Christine. Can’t wait for your surprise!” He excuses himself and leaves the restaurant.

Cane follows Michael outside. He asks if their “problem” has been taken care of with Billy.

Michael says he’s working on it.

Cane nods. He’s counting on him! Michael leaves.

Inside, Traci asks Phyllis how she knows Cane.

Phyllis says he invited her to Nice, and now they’re working together. She asks how Traci has been; does she ever think of Martin?

Traci says she does, sometimes. She has nightmares about him.

Phyllis nods. She has nightmares, too, about being kidnapped by him. She says it wasn’t Traci’s fault and didn’t deserve any of this.

Traci says she saw what she wanted to see. Some days are good, and some days are really hard! She wishes that Phyllis’s toughness would rub off on her!

Phyllis laughs and says Traci is a bad-ass. She asks if Traci is getting revenge by writing about Martin.

Traci won’t say, but she guarantees to give Phyllis a first edition.

They toast, and Cane walks in, asking what they’re toasting to.

Phyllis says they’re toasting to the future, and life!

Traci looks at Cane with concern. “Is everything alright?”

Cane says he just had a matter to discuss with Michael. He’s glad he ran into her; she looks amazing! He’s thought a lot about her over the years!

Traci laughs and says she’s thought about him too. They hug, and Phyllis looks on, confused.
