Sally meets Billy at the overlook. She tells him that she told Jack and Diane everything about his plans to use the AI against Victor and how he lost the company because of Cane.

Billy nods. He knows Cane can’t be trusted, and Sally was right about everything. Any deal he has with Cane is off.

Sally doesn’t trust him. As soon as Cane comes back with Chancellor in his hand, Billy will go back to him!

Billy says he doesn’t want that anymore; all he wants is her!

Sally says she’s given him too many chances… She feels like she’s being manipulated! He told her that Jack had pulled the funding, and that was a lie! He told her that she needed to come work with him at Abbott Communications, and that was a lie, too! She had a job and career that she was good at, and she gave it all up for him! She poured her heart and soul into making his company a success, and now she has nothing. She doesn’t even know where they stand!

Billy says he knows he let her down. He begs for her to give him a chance to make everything right. He knows Cane is predatory, and he’s the one to stop him! He’s on a mission to protect his family.

Sally asks how beating Cane will get them back on track.

Billy says Cane is the reason things fell apart between them.

Sally says that Billy is the reason things fell apart, not Cane!

Billy sighs. He says she’s right, but he can fix things; there’s light at the end of the tunnel, and he wants to take Sally to it!
