The Elegance, The Ambition, The Broken Hearts, and The Hidden Truths of Cane’s Train Car
Victor drops in on Cane, who brings him a tequila. He asks about Cane providing him the AI software to attack Jabot. He wants to start the attack tomorrow.

Cane doesn’t get why there’s such a rush.
Victor reminds him he’d release a hit piece if he doesn’t comply.
Cane shrugs. He doesn’t care if the world hates him.

Victor warns him that his children would care… Does he really want him to pull the trigger on this? He’s been gracious enough to give him time to settle things with his children!
Cane says his children don’t want anything to do with him.
Victor figures he’d be able to redeem himself with his children if he goes along with his plan. Together, they can win!

Cane asks what he gets out of it… Other than protecting his father’s reputation.
Victor says that he can keep everything he owns and add Jabot to his collection.
Cane is curious why Victor doesn’t want Jabot for himself.

Victor says he’s not interested anymore. He only wants to crush Jack Abbott, and Jack lives and breathes Jabot.
Cane imagines Victor feels the same way about Newman Enterprises.
Victor rants that Jack inherited Jabot… He built Newman Enterprises!

Cane says Jabot would be a nice addition, but he wants Newman Media to tell the truth about his father. Colin turned his life around before his death.
Victor reminds him he’s in no position to negotiate. Is he in or out? The moment Victor walks out the door, the deal is off the table!
Michael bursts into the train car and calls out to Cane.

Victor looks at him… What’s he doing there? He’s obviously working for the enemy! He asks Cane to give him the answer right away.
Cane says the answer is no.
Victor finishes his drink. “Good luck to you.” He leaves the train.
