EastEnders couple finally go official and make a romantic gesture
After weeks of tension, will they won’t they moments, EastEnders fan-favourites Harry and Gina finally take a step forward in their complicated relationship, making things official and sealing it with a spontaneous romantic getaway.
But in true Albert Square style, their blossoming romance isn’t all smooth sailing.
While romance is on the cards for Harry and Gina, Harry’s still in deep with Ravi and Okie’s criminal dealings. As Ravi grows increasingly concerned that their last drug run has caught the attention of rival gangs, suspicions begin to mount that Kojo’s flat is being watched.
Harry notices a gang lurking nearby but makes the dangerous decision to stay quiet, hoping a raid would be enough to put Ravi and Okie off using the flat again. However, things take a dark turn when Kojo returns home, and it’s too late.

Okie is left battered after a violent altercation, and Harry scrambles to help clean up the mess. But while he’s putting out fires behind the scenes, he’s unknowingly fanning the flames elsewhere…
Harry’s absence is noticed and not just by the gang. Gina is furious when Harry is a no-show before Lauren’s surprise wedding, leaving her feeling hurt and sidelined.
The fallout is swift. Gina confronts Harry, questioning his priorities and calling out his constant evasiveness. It’s a blow to Harry, who finds himself caught between the criminal world and someone who actually cares for him.

Meanwhile, the Square is buzzing with preparations for Lauren’s surprise wedding, organised by Peter. But the plan hits a snag when Lauren refuses to go to the spa day, opting to work instead. Penny, unaware of the wedding plot, steps in to lift Lauren’s mood, and their friendly outing soon takes a turn with Penny casting doubt over Lauren’s relationship with Peter.
Later, Lauren and Penny head to The Vic for a casual drink with Peter, only to walk in and discover the entire pub decked out for a wedding. With all eyes on her, Peter drops to one knee and proposes.
Amid the chaos, Harry reaches a tipping point. Realising that Ravi’s grip on him is tightening, he makes a desperate call to his mum, Nicola, asking for help. But Nicola has no intention of standing by while Ravi manipulates her son. She warns Ravi that she’ll go over his head to his bosses if he doesn’t back off, making it clear that she’s not afraid to fight dirty to protect her son.

Yet, despite her intervention, Ravi makes it known that Kojo’s flat and Harry are still central to his operations.
Unaware of the continuing danger, Harry finally gets a break. He heads to The Vic, where he and Gina share a heartfelt moment. After weeks of missed signals and mounting frustration, they reconcile, both realising they want more than just a casual fling.
In a refreshing moment of romance, Harry and Gina decide it’s time to stop dancing around their feelings. They officially become a couple and decide to book a spontaneous weekend away, escaping Walford for a much-needed break.
The pair are thrilled and in a world of their own. But with danger still lurking behind the scenes, how long can their happiness last?
