Nick and Victoria talk with their father and mother. Victoria figures they’re there to talk about Cane.

Victor thinks Cane isn’t taking him seriously… He’s trying to call Victor’s bluff with one of his own! Victor wants to know what Cane’s next move is. He doubts Cane is ready for war, and he has an interesting addition to his puzzle…

Nikki says Jack Abbott is involved now.

Victor informs them that Jack came over with a proposition to defeat Cane Ashby, and he’s actually giving the idea some thought. He explains that Jill may have more influence on Cane’s actions than Lily.

Nikki agrees. Jill was more of a mother to Cane than his own mother, and they suspect Cane is taking advantage of Jill’s disappointment in Billy.

Nick wonders what they have to gain by knowing this. Will Cane stop because Jill finds out about Colin’s scam?

Victor says the plan is that Jill will talk to Cane and convince him not to turn to “the dark side.” When Cane has been humbled, they’ll crush him!

Nick asks if Victor is planning on making his partnership with Jack official.

Victor laughs. It’s a temporary alliance! They’ll see how it all plays out.

Nick agrees and thanks his dad for the heads-up. He and Victoria leave the house, kissing Nikki goodbye as they leave.
