Nate returns to the restaurant and asks Amy where Lily is.

Amy says Lily had to leave to work; she’s been sitting there people watching.

Nate apologizes for leaving her waiting.

Amy says he doesn’t have to talk about Audra if he’s not ready, but she’s here for him if he does want to.

Nate says Audra apologized for the lies, what she did with Victor and Kyle, but he’s not sure she would have ever told him if things hadn’t blown up.

Amy asks how he feels about her now; how does he feel about this Audra?

Nate says Audra is smart, beautiful, and fearless even when she shouldn’t be. When they were together it was exciting. When Amy came to stay, he saw a side of Audra he hadn’t seen before. They were almost a family. He’s not saying she’s a bad person now, he’s not the one to judge her, but he’d have a hard time believing she’s really changed.

Amy sees heartache in his eyes. Is Audra irredeemable?

Nate shrugs. He’s not sure yet.

Amy thinks Nate is struggling because he wants to forgive Audra. What’s stopping him?

Nate knows Amy and Audra are still close, and he won’t interfere with that.

Amy says she’ll never see Damian’s smile again, and when she tells Nate that his happiness means everything to her, she hopes he understands. Maybe his smile could make up for it! She knows Audra made him smile and laugh. It makes her hope that Audra really has changed. Love can work miracles and change a person for the better. Isn’t it worth a try?
