Nick drops in on Sharon at the coffeehouse.

Sharon talks about having already packed and other things before Nick interrupts her.

Nick apologizes and says there’s a chance he’s going to miss the flight today. His dad summoned him to the ranch, and sounded like he’s looking for a fight. He says she should fly to LA on her own and he’ll join her tomorrow.

Sharon laughs that Victor is always looking for a fight. She’s a bit worried about Noah, though. He asked for his parents’ help with the nightclub, but she has a “mom-sense” that there’s more to this than it seems. She hopes Victor won’t pull Nick into the next phase of whatever he has planned for Cane, because if he does, she worries that he won’t come to LA at all.

Nick says he made a promise to go to LA. Victor can handle whatever Cane throws at him. Cane talks a big game, but he doesn’t know if he can follow through. He asks if Sharon has heard anything about Mariah.

Sharon says that Mariah has checked into a facility in Boston, and Tessa and Daniel are investigating. She wishes she knew what happened with Mariah to cause her to need therapy. She knows she might be overreacting to Noah, but not about Mariah.

Nick says the only thing that matters is that Mariah is getting the help she needs.

Sharon nods. As a therapist, she knows Mariah is getting help, but as a mother… She worries!

Nick says she has a flight to board. Go, and tell Noah to be brave. He’ll be there, no matter what.
