The Young and The Restless: Cane’s Train Car Turns Into a Crime Scene!
Jack walks into the car and catches Cane napping. He wonders if Cane had a rough night.

Cane shrugs. He’s slept like a baby!
Jack thinks his conscience is catching up with him and giving him a hard time.
Cane asks if he’s talked to Billy… He cut ties with him.

Cane shrugs. Billy could have hung up the phone! He wasn’t playing Billy; they’re both sides of the same coin! Playing mind games was fun for a while, but Jack’s right… Cane is addicted to getting more… But at what cost? He’s reconsidering who he wants to be!
Jack thinks Cane’s reconsideration is just an act.

Cane knows that Jack has been talking to Jill and trying to turn her against him. He’s telling Jack the truth, there aren’t any tricks up his sleeve!
Jack tells him to prove it; get rid of the AI software and get rid of the axe hanging over people’s heads.
Cane thinks there should be a neutral party to take care of the software… Does Jack have someone in mind?

Jack nods. He’ll take care of it!
Cane says he doesn’t see Jack as neutral in this scenario. The skepticism goes both ways! He’s not sure that Jack wouldn’t use the technology against Victor.
Jack says that surprisingly, he and Victor are on the same page lately.

Cane wonders what Victor would do if he got his hands on the software… He’d probably use it to take Jack down!
Jack says he’s not playing any mind games; he’s serious, and Cane isn’t. There’s someone else he could trust… Jill!
Cane scoffs. He says he’s not an evil monster; he tried to get Billy and Jill together again because he knows how much it means to her.

Jack has a problem believing anything Cane is saying.
Cane shrugs. Not his problem! He was trying to save Jill’s heart from breaking. He thought giving Billy a chance would be worth a shot!
Jack asks what changed with Billy… How did he end up on the street again?

Cane says Billy was just being himself. He made a practical decision to get rid of a bad business partner.
Jack thinks redemption is just what Billy needs.
Cane says Jack turned his back on Billy, too. Didn’t he tell Billy that “enough was enough”?

Jack says that he’s trying to help. Doesn’t Cane understand the desire to save the ones they love from themselves?
Cane says he understands, but he needed to cut his losses. Colin changed!
Jack doesn’t believe him.

Cane tells him to ask her.
Jill walks in and says that she wants to have a private word with Cane.
Jack asks to talk to her privately first… They’re overdue!
Jill asks why; so he can fill her head about Cane like Billy and Victor have?
