The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Hits Rock Bottom – Jobless And Furious Over Danny’s Remarriage

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had a plan. Her latest comeback plan involved either working with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) or providing intel about him to key players in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Those efforts have likely failed.

Phyllis believed that she could work with Cane, who claimed he needed her on his team. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was part of that three-person contingent and he’s out as well.

Meanwhile, separate from business, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) tasked his adopted son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), with handling Phyllis. Danny and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) are set to remarry.

Danny Romalotti Was Phyllis Summers’ First Love

Some would argue that Danny wasn’t Phyllis’ first love. A segment of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, population, surely including Cricket, would strongly assert that Phyllis never loved Danny.

Devoted viewers recall the monumental storyline that seized them in the mid-1990s. Stafford was hired to be an obsessed groupie. But this great actor exceeded expectations to such a high level that Phyllis became a regular on the show.

Eventually, Phyllis convinced Danny that she was pregnant with his child. Daniel was another man’s child, with that plot point serving to destroy Danny’s only marriage to Christine, whom Phyllis derisively termed “The Bug.”

So, fans should expect Phyllis not to go quietly into the night as Danny and Christine’s wedding date approaches or when it arrives. Left to her own devices, Phyllis is inclined to create trouble, but she’s likely incapable of derailing this long-awaited remarriage.

Maybe Cane Ashby Will Be A Connection?

Cane hasn’t initiated his artificial intelligence plan. He has stated that it can ruin any company in the world and leave no trace of evidence.

But Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) return to GC may serve to alter Cane’s intended course or prevent him from wreaking havoc. Assuming that’s more possible than not, Phyllis might not be out of the running.

The head of Arabesque would benefit by having Phyllis back on his team and working toward honest goals rather than unjustly seizing various legacy companies. She should hope for this outcome as well because doing so wouldn’t alienate her from family members and other friends.

Amanda Sinclair’s Advice Should Be Followed

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is Phyllis’ only friend. Their reconnection, since learning that Amanda is Cane’s lead attorney, has been a bit chilly. However, deep down, Phyllis knows that Amanda’s advice should be followed.

Cane’s trust in Amanda didn’t extend to Phyllis, but it did give her a preview of what being in the inner circle was like. Phyllis’ best chance at regaining her career momentum might be to work for Cane again.

She needs to stay close to Amanda, who can talk Phyllis up to Cane. Phyllis’ computer skill set can be useful to Cane if Jill can persuade him to pursue normal business plans.
