Another big week in Walford (Picture: BBC/Metro)

EastEnders is lining up a huge week for Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) in the wake of her vicious attack at the hands of Joel Marshall (Max Murray).

His dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) is still in disbelief about the incident, not wanting to believe that Joel could be responsible for such a disgusting incident.

Unfortunately, just as Vicki is on the road to recovery, she receives another setback in her case against Joel.

Elsewhere, there’s danger for Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) as he continues to be held hostage by Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu). To make him suffer, Okie begins to close in on Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).

Plus, when Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) begins to put plans in place for his future with wife Julie (Karen Henthorn), Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) decides to help out.

Surely this can only end badly!

Here’s a look at next week’s Square action…

Monday, October 13

A shaken Vicki seeks refuge at The Vic after being attacked by Joel, as Ross tries to recover his relationship with his son following their earlier argument, completely unaware of what the vile teen has done.

While tensions rise, Tommy slips away to meet his mate, who plays down his vicious assault on Vicki and pleads for help.

Against his better judgement, Tommy agrees to stash Joel in the Slaters’ garage. But when Zoe starts to suspect something’s off, she urges Tommy to come clean – though he stays tight-lipped about Joel’s whereabouts.

At the hospital, Ross is left reeling as news spreads about what happened. Tommy is desperate to protect his mate and does his best to quash rumours linking Joel to the incident.

Relief finally comes when doctors confirm Vicki will pull through.

Meanwhile, Teddy turns to George for answers after failing to track down Harry, only for George to assure him that his son’s safe and sound with Kojo.

Gina and Teddy breathe a sigh of relief when Harry later rings home, but the truth is far darker than they realise.

In reality, Harry’s being held by Okie and Ravi, who forced him to make the call. Terrified, Harry pleads to be let go, but Okie makes it clear he’s not going anywhere… not until Harry gives up the location of the hidden camera.

Tuesday, October 14

Things remain frosty between Vicki and Ross as the pair struggle to see eye to eye over Joel, with tensions bubbling beneath the surface.

Elsewhere, Anna does her best to lift Gina’s spirits, but her patience is clearly wearing thin when she leaves Harry a sharp voicemail demanding some answers.

Meanwhile, Harry finally cracks under pressure, revealing to Okie where the hidden camera is linked – prompting Okie to seize Harry’s laptop.

On his way to fetch it, Okie crosses paths with Gina and turns on the charm. The pair exchange flirty banter, and Gina even slips him her number, unaware of the danger lurking behind his easy smile.

Ravi and Okie make it clear that Harry isn’t going anywhere, despite him giving them exactly what they wanted.

Plus, Elaine is left gobsmacked when Teddy presents her with a sky-high quote for the renovation work on No.5. This is a devastating blow after confiding in Yolande about her big plans – she wants to transform the place into a stylish boutique hotel.

Very E-laine!

Wednesday, October 15

Trouble brews for Okie when rival dealers issue a stark warning for flogging gear on their patch. Shaken, he reports back to Ravi, who wastes no time in telling him to get it sorted.

Keen to keep things cool, Ravi floats the idea of whisking Avani away on a much-needed holiday, and Okie’s chuffed when he’s left in charge while they’re gone.

But despite Ravi’s clear orders to release Harry, Okie’s got other plans. With a twisted grin, he tells the terrified teen that he’s setting his sights on Gina… and plans to win her over.

Elsewhere, Julie’s tutoring session with Lily takes a turn when Nigel accidentally offends her, leaving the atmosphere tense.

Concerned, Jean pops by to check in, and the pair share a heartfelt chat. Over at the café, Nigel tries to make amends by planning a romantic surprise – a dream trip to India – with Oscar even suggesting he flog his Morris Minor to help pay for it.

Meanwhile, Oscar’s still doing everything he can to catch Jasmine’s eye.

Elsewhere, Elaine turns mentor as she encourages Johnny to branch out and start his own business and Vicki is left floored when new developments emerge in her case against Joel.

Thursday, October 16

Okie tightens his grip on Harry, keeping him locked away and pushing him to breaking point when he smugly reveals he’s got a date lined up – with none other than Gina.

The pair share drinks at The Vic, but something doesn’t sit right with Gina, who later confides in Anna about her worries.

Both sisters can’t shake the feeling that something’s seriously wrong with Harry. Back in captivity, a shattered Harry turns to drugs in a desperate attempt to numb the pain, as Okie continues to toy with his emotions.

Elsewhere, Oscar seals the deal on selling Nigel’s beloved car and suggests one last joyride before it’s gone – a plan that backfires when Julie catches wind and gives them both a piece of her mind, reminding Nigel he’s not even supposed to be driving due to his dementia.

Later, Julie lets her hair down with Jean over drinks at The Vic, and her mood lifts when Nigel surprises her with the news that he’s taking her to India after all.

Meanwhile, Oscar’s grinning from ear to ear when Jasmine finally agrees to go on a date with him.

Plus, Johnny wakes up to a nightmare after realising he’s drunkenly emailed a business proposal – to every client on his list, including his boss. Mortified, he breaks the news to Callum that he’s been fired.
