EastEnders star Clair Norris selling clothes for as little as £3 after soap exit

Former EastEnders star Clair Norris has put her wardrobe up for sale online — with some items going for as little as £3.

The actress, who played Bernie Taylor in the long-running BBC One soap, has listed dozens of second-hand items on resale app Vinted. Among the pieces are jumpers, blouses, dresses and T-shirts, as well as accessories and everyday staples, many priced between £3 and £10.

Norris, 27, is also parting with a few personal favourites, including a copy of Daisy May Cooper’s 2021 memoir Don’t Laugh, It’ll Only Encourage Her for £1.50 and a Sex and the City DVD box set.

Her listings come just three months after she bowed out of EastEnders following seven years on the show. Norris joined the soap in 2017 as Bernie Taylor, the kind-hearted but outspoken daughter of Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley), quickly becoming a fan favourite.

In June, the actress confirmed she would be leaving the Square, telling fans that while she was sad to say goodbye, she was excited for what might come next.

“It’s been an incredible chapter of my life,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for letting me grow up on your screens.”

A spokesperson for EastEnders said at the time: “We can confirm that Clair will be leaving EastEnders later this year and we wish her all the best for the future.”

Her exit marked the end of the Taylor family’s time in Walford. Karen left in 2023 alongside Mitch and her grandchildren Mia and Mackenzie; son Keanu was killed off in the Christmas storyline The Six, daughter Chantelle was murdered by her abusive husband Gray Atkins in 2020, and son Keegan departed for Germany in 2022.

A show insider previously told The Sun: “Every time a soap gets a new boss they make changes — it’s nothing personal. Clair was the last Taylor standing, and it’s time for her to move on to new projects. Everyone at EastEnders loves her and she’ll always be part of the family.”

Since leaving, Norris has hinted at wanting to explore new roles.
