After confronting Sheila, Deacon walked out on her.

While Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) assured the waitress that Deacon would come back, this could mean the end of the marriage.

There was a connection when they were in this same dynamic a few years ago. However, nothing ever came from it.

This time, Taylor and Deacon could quickly fall into a romance. However, it could be too soon after Taylor and Deacon’s heartbreaks with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Sheila.

What if Deacon finds himself drawn back to Sheila again?

In the past, Taylor has mostly been a good character. So, it might be time for her to get deceptive and dirty to make her more interesting.

What if she refuses to let Deacon go? What if Taylor – a respected psychiatrist – goes off the rails and starts terrorizing Sheila?

For one thing, nobody would really believe Sheila because of her past. It would also be hard to picture Taylor being so cruel.

Sheila could face a wall of doubt from others, especially if Taylor works hard to keep her cover while people are around.

The other factor is that some might say it’s karma for Sheila. After all, she did a lot of harm to a lot of people in Los Angeles.

While she’s reformed, has she really paid for those sins? Maybe this is the soap’s way of balancing the scales, so stay tuned!
