The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Who Gets Cane’s Doomsday Weapon? – Victor, Jack, And Jill Compete

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) just got hit hard. The love of his life also told him that his children are likely to remain alienated from him, which means he’s motivated to use his doomsday weapon.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t believe that the artificial intelligence tool Cane supposedly has at his disposal is real. But Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) rightly challenged him on that speculative plot point.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) approved the hit piece on Cane that ties him to Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) seemingly provable swindle. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was loving that, while also considering Chelsea’s warning about Cane’s unpredictable retribution.

Victor Newman Believes He’ll Get The Hammer

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will convince Cane to give her the AI weapon. She’ll then give it to Victor, at least the Moustache believes that’s a likely scenario.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) questioned her husband, asking if he plans to destroy the computer-based weapon. Victor, coy as he’s ever been, refrained from answering but then did.

Victor wants to gain control of this assumed tool so he can use it just like Cane, but to a greater degree. Imagine someone as skilled in ruthlessness as the founder and reigning head of Newman Enterprises taking control of this type of dangerous digital item. As the viewers know, Victor intends to crush Cane and Jack in one fell swoop.

The Young and The Restless: Jack Abbott

Jack Abbott Was Making Headway, Or So He Assumed

Jack wants to believe that he’s still smiling. His 1980s nickname was Similin’ Jack. The one-time Genoa City, Wisconsin, playboy used to be completely self-involved.

But that was before many of his marriages and fatherhood. Today, Jack is a considerate, reflective guy whose self-restraint is based on his love for the Abbott family, his wife, son, and grandchild.

Understandably, Jack’s talk with Cane was similar to a father-son discussion, as compared to Victor’s predator-prey exchange. But Bergman’s character is fooling himself into thinking that he has a realistic chance of gaining control of the AI weapon and then using it on Victor. That’s simply not the arc or destiny of the foil character Bergman has long played on this classic soap.

Jill Abbott Is The Consensus Pick

Victor and Jack don’t agree on much, but they believe that Jill has the key to Cane’s heart. Jack’s proposal to ally with Victor was accepted because he, like the Moustache, said Jill has a leading influence with Cane.

She hasn’t been able to make a breakthrough, but Jill has gotten more out of Cane about what happened with Colin in France than anyone else. Victor and Jack’s assumptions are also true. Cane does want to please Jill.

If Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were to bet all his red chips on one person winning, it would be Jill. However, this is no game, and Cane’s cornered by Newman Media’s smear. That implies a major climax is about to drop.
