Phyllis sits down and laughs. Of course she’ll let it go!
Christine says she’s committed to her relationship with Danny lasting forever.
Phyllis doubts it, because Danny will kick “the bug” off the tour bus soon enough.

Christine says that’s rich, coming from a woman who’s never had a lasting relationship with anyone and who’s spent most of her life alone.
Phyllis says she’s fine and she’s moved on.
Christine invites her to continue moving on.

Phyllis says she came there in good faith to wish them a happy marriage, but all she’s gotten is hostility. She thinks Christine doesn’t have what it takes to keep Danny happy.

Phyllis says she doesn’t think they’ll even make it to the church. She reminds them that she was there when their first marriage crashed and burned.

Christine says they’ve changed and grown since then. She talks about how Danny is always there for her, and Danny agrees; he’s always there for her, too, and they always will be. They kiss.
Phyllis thinks they’re putting on a better show than Danny does when he’s onstage. She thinks they’re trying too hard. She gets up, grabs her coffee to go, and leaves.
Danny laughs. He says Christine is the rock star; he can’t believe how well she handled Phyllis! He knows Phyllis is trying to stir doubt about what they have together. They love each other more than they ever have, and they’re going to have the most amazing wedding ever! They laugh and kiss.

Christine agrees. He’s right, Phyllis only tears others down to make herself feel better. She says she’s treasured every moment they’ve spent together. She’s looking forward to becoming Mrs. Danny Romalotti!
They leave for their stag and doe parties.
