Phyllis wanders around in the dark, wondering why the lights are out.

Danny walks upstairs and asks Phyllis if she had anything to do with the power outage.

Nate walks in and says he talked with a manager, who told him that construction caused the outage, and they hope to have the power back on soon.

Danny thanks Nate and says he’ll see him back down in the lounge. Nate agrees and leaves. Danny tells Phyllis to wait; he needs to talk to her.

Phyllis asks if Danny has seen the light about Christine.

Danny says he’s worried about Phyllis… Is she okay?

Phyllis says she’s not okay. Why does he always think the worst of her?

Danny says she’s been known to pull pranks like this. He reminds her that she put an octopus in Christine’s bed once.

Phyllis says she didn’t have anything to do with the octopus in the bed.

Danny laughs and says Christine and Paul would say differently. He says Phyllis is something else.

Phyllis says he’s not saying that in a good way.

Danny says he is; Phyllis loves hard and feels so much. He thinks it’s a gift, but sometimes Phyllis doesn’t know how to handle it or what to do, so she lashes out at people.

Phyllis cries and says that Christine called her crazy, and she thinks she’s right… She did go crazy when she was locked in that cell with Sharon!

Danny says he’s sorry that she’s hurt.

Phyllis sighs. She’s a fool for holding onto someone who let go of her a long time ago, but she’s actually moved on. She wants him to be happy, but with Christine?!

Danny says there will never be anyone else.

Phyllis smiles through her tears. She’s never going to like Christine, but she likes Danny… He’s the best father and the best ex-husband, and he’s the greatest man that she wants nothing but the best for. She’ll be happy for him, she promises.

Danny says he wouldn’t ask for anything more. He says he’s on his way upstairs to get his guitar and serenade the group… She should join them downstairs!

Phyllis declines. She’s going to go to her room.

Danny nods. She’ll be fine. He leaves to go get his guitar.

Phyllis takes a deep breath and tells herself ,”You’re going to be okay. You’re going to be okay.”
