Sharon approaches the nurse and tells her that she saw Noah’s hand twitch. She’s sure it means he’s recovering and he was trying to communicate with her.

The nurse says it’s probably an involuntary muscle spasm and that it’s a good sign that Noah’s situation hasn’t changed.

Sharon gets upset and yells at the nurse that the only sign she’s waiting for is for Noah to wake up and rip his bandages off! She apologizes for yelling.

The nurse promises they’ll do everything they can.

Sharon heads back into Noah’s room and sits at his bedside. She starts reading from “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.” She looks at his still hand and starts crying. She says he has to come back just like Huck and Tom Sawyer.
