Danny and Phyllis talk over coffee. Danny thinks Phyllis needs to give Daniel space. He asks how her job with Cane is going.

Phyllis laughs. He wants to talk about something else? How about they talk about his wedding to Christine? She wishes him much “vanilla happiness” with Christine.

Danny says he loves Christine, and she makes him happy. He feels like his life is finally headed in the right direction, and Phyllis could have that for herself some day if she’d just stop attacking him and his bride-to-be!

Phyllis says he’s spent so much time with “the bug” that it’s destroyed his sense of humor. He has his destiny, and she has hers… But hers will be amazing.

Danny assumes Phyllis must be talking about a love interest.

Phyllis says she’s focused on a life without a man calling the shots.

Danny says maybe she needs someone to keep her from making an impulsive mistake.

Phyllis says she’s not marrying the most self-righteous person on the planet. She apologizes; sometimes her inner thoughts get the best of her!

Danny accepts her apology. He’s sure she’ll be fine.

Phyllis says she will be fine. Anyone who gets in her way won’t be fine, though. This time, she’s going to win.

Phyllis gets a text from Victor asking her to come to the ranch.

Danny sees that the text is from Victor. He says he was worried about her before, but now he’s terrified… What has she gotten herself into this time?
