Diane tells Jack that she’s happy they beefed up their I.T. security at Jabot when they first learned about Cane’s AI program.

Jack isn’t sure the precautions they’ve taken will protect them. He rants that he wanted to team up with Victor in order to stop this from happening to anyone. They even talked about bringing Jill on board, but now Victor is attacking them with the AI! He feels like he’s put his family’s legacy at risk.

Diane tries to calm Jack. She says that they need to focus on what to do now. They won’t even know if they’re being attacked; what if their company is already being destroyed from the inside?

Jack says all they can do right now is to beef up their cybersecurity and offline all of their vital information. He knows Kyle is in LA, but they need him here! They have to make sure that Claire doesn’t find out anything either, since she’s a Newman. Jack sends Kyle a text asking Kyle to come home ASAP, and says that if Phyllis is involved, they need to deal with her. He calls Billy and asks him to come to the house right away.
