Earlier this month, we sent some get well wishes to General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy (Diane), who was in the process of undergoing another surgery. On November 12, the ABC soap vet posted an Instagram story with a photo from the hospital to let everyone know that her “second surgery was a success.” She thanked fans for their “love and support” and stated, “Finally able to go home to my animals,” then joked, “Please send book, TV, movie recommendations or diamonds, as I convalesce.

The ABC soap vet broke her leg last month and an update had been shared on where things stand in her recovery. On November 4, a story posted to the actress’ official Instagram stated, “Quick Carolyn update: First surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled for Thursday. All thoughts and prayers are welcome.”

The update stems from Hennesy’s initial post to her X account back on October 28, where she shared, “Hello all, due to unforeseen circumstances, like a broken leg, my performance at Vibrato on November 5 has been postponed. We’ll get ‘er done, just not on the 5th.”

Fans quickly jumped under the post to show Hennesy support, who had to cancel her event. “Hello everyone, sadly (very!) we have to postpone the show on November 5th due to a personal injury,” a message on her Instagram stated, promising more details to come.

The event in question was to take place at the Vibrato Grill and Jazz club, where Hennesy planned to bring “a unique and intimate evening of song, humor and storytelling” to fans. If you planned to attend, be sure to stay tuned to her page for a rescheduled date.
