EastEnders teases exit for Zoe Slater as she is faced with her violent past

Zoe Slater returns to Walford after being accidentally shot by Jack Branning, leaving her fighting for life.

As fans of the BBC One soap will know, Zoe recently made a shock return to Albert Square and reunited with her mum, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).

During a struggle with Ravi, Jack accidentally fired the gun, shooting Zoe in the Square’s gardens.

Flashbacks reveal Zoe secretly had twins in 2006, was involved with Max Branning, and believes she killed Greg.

In forthcoming scenes, the aftermath of Zoe’s shooting incident starts to unfold, and it’s not good news.

On Monday (15th September), Zoe but is still shaken by the shooting and the police soon confirm it wasn’t a targeted attack.

The Slaters are buzzing to have Zoe home, but she soon bolts and makes her way to the café, where her day gets much worse.

She is confronted by Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) over the death of her dad Den Watts (Leslie Grantham) forcing Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) to step in.

Not wanting to drop the subject of Den’s murder, Vicki follows Zoe to The Albert and showdown ensues.

Later, Zoe returns to The Vic and learns Freddie (Bobby Brazier) and Big Mo (Laila Morse) have shared details about her shooting, and it has been printed in the local paper, potentially putting her at risk.EastEnders

Moments later, Zoe leaves a message with a face from her past, but who is it?

As the week goes on, Zoe threatens she has put her family in danger as Kat and Anthony try to reassure her.

Overwhelmed with fear, Zoe packs up her bags to leave as Stacey begs her to stay.

After learning about Greg, Stacey turns to Jack for help, but he refuses to get involved.
