Billy calls Jack and tells him that the launch of Abbott Communications is imminent!
Jack looks forward to getting a sizable return on his investment, and he and Diane have their 50’s outfits ready for the gala!
Billy says his super-hot girlfriend just walked in. He ends the call with his brother and kisses Sally hello.
Sally says the team at the office worked really well, she barely had to do anything!
Billy says he has something for her. He hands her a copy of a newspaper he had printed. It’s the “Genoa City Chronicle”, and it has a date set in the 1950’s.
Sally reads from the newspaper. “Booming success Abbott Communications Skyrockets Onto Scene”
Billy grins. They have a legitimate hit on their hands!

Sally laughs as she reads the launch party article. She can’t believe he had this made for her! She thanks him and kisses him. She asks if he’d mind if she displayed it somewhere at the launch party.
Billy says he’d rather keep it between them. When Abbott Communications is at the top, she can look at this to remind her where it started.
Sally’s ready to get rolling. It’s exciting! She wants to make sure the company gets involved in sports… There’s a lot of money in that!
Billy says they might have to schedule time together… This might be the last leisurely evening they have for a while!
Sally thinks they should make the most of it. Romance is on the table! They laugh and kiss.
Billy says he’s really proud of the decorating she did. He says the place has “rizz,” according to Johnny. He thinks something might be missing, though…
Sally wonders what it might be. She can probably fix it!
Billy grins and gets the newspaper. He says it’s right there in the “Society” section of the paper.
Sally reads the article with a smile on her face. “Media tycoon, Sally Spectra, head of Abbott Communications is reportedly moving in with Chancellor CEO Billy Abbott in the coming days. The two have been dating for a short time, but Mr. Abbott so adores her that he doesn’t want her away from his side.”
Billy smiles and says he’d love to spend more time out of the office… Would she move in with him?
Sally isn’t sure if he’s serious, but he assures her he is. This is a really big step!
Billy says he had the paper printed a couple of weeks ago… He’s sure!
Sally wants to make sure that it’s what he wants… She says that she’s a little gunshy because her moving in with others didn’t work for her in the past. This is a huge commitment!
Billy says he’s ready for the commitment, but if she’s not, he understands. He misses her when she’s not here!
Sally is worried she’d get in the way… What do his kids think of the idea?
Billy hasn’t talked to his kids yet, but he knows they adore Sally.
Sally wants to make sure the kids’ feelings are taken into consideration.
Billy hopes she knows he’s crazy for her. He’d love to go to sleep at night with her and wake up beside her in the morning.
Sally laughs and says she sees the logic in it.
Billy asks if she sees the romance in it. He holds her close, and they dance.
They make their way into the bedroom and get undressed. Sally asks if anything in the newspaper reported on this.
Billy grins. They’ll go to print on this!
They fall into bed together.
Later, Sally and Billy lie in bed, snuggling. She asks if Billy thinks this is the right move for them… They’d be working together and sharing a home! What if they argue about business?
Billy grins and says they’ll work things out.
Sally sighs. She’s scared.
Billy understands. He cares about her and he thinks the feeling is mutual. They’re destined to be together! He thinks this is the moment when everything changes for the better.
Sally smiles and kisses him. She says that the first thing she wants to do is frame the newspaper on the wall… Because she will move in with him, as long as it’s okay with the kids! How does this weekend sound?
