Jack wonders why Phyllis can’t seem to get out of her own way.

Diane thinks Phyllis is her own worst enemy, and in true “Phyllis fashion,” she had to act out on Danny and Christine’s important night.

Michael hopes this is a turning point. Maybe Phyllis will finally be able to put her obsession with Danny and Christine in the past.

Lauren’s glad that Phyllis didn’t have anything to do with the outage… That would have truly been crazy!

Danny returns with his guitar. He proposes to give them a show while the power is out. He says he’ll start at the piano and asks where his muse is.

Christine laughs and sits beside him at the piano.

Danny starts playing. “I’ve waited my whole life to meet somebody like you.” He sings, and everyone sings along. “Let me into your heart.”

Phyllis walks down the stairs and listens as they all sing. She quietly walks back upstairs.

Everyone applauds as the song finishes.

Danny says that he can’t wait to marry Christine, and they kiss.
