An Elegant Dinner Turns Into a War of Words at Society — and Someone’s Truth Finally Comes Out!
Billy and Sally sit in the restaurant and have breakfast. They talk about the “new” launch party for Abbott Communications. Billy thinks they need to spin it like they planned to have a second launch all along and wants to integrate a new social media platform into the company.

Sally thinks this is a great idea.
Billy tells her that she’s new to this, and that hiring Audra could be her first major misstep at the company.
Sally says they’re fortunate to get someone like Audra… She’s an expert and has been in the C-Suite at established companies and startups!

Billy says that he’s her co-CEO now, and he thinks that Sally gave Audra a job because she was a friend. If she’s so qualified, why couldn’t she find a job? He thinks Audra might be more of a liability than an asset. He doesn’t want Audra to be another calamity before the doors even open. He wonders what happened to Vibrante or Glissade. They never even really launched!
Sally insists Billy was supportive when she first hired Audra… What’s changed?
Billy says he was “distracted” by Chancellor, but now he’s 100% on board. He’s concerned about Audra; does Jill know that she’s part of the deal?

Sally says she never mentioned it to Jill. If Jill trusts her enough to fund the company, then she should trust in Sally’s hires.
Billy thinks Sally needs to let their investor know about Audra. He doesn’t think Jill will like Audra being involved.
Sally says that she’s not changing her mind when it comes to Audra. Audra has great ideas and is a great mind. Jill is supposed to be a silent investor, and Sally doesn’t need to run every hire by her. She wonders if Billy is regretting giving up his dream of getting Chancellor back.

Billy says he has no reservations about her being the CEO of Abbott Communications, but Sally needs to tell Jill before she finds out about it from anyone else.
Sally thinks Billy is still smarting from the “pain” of Jill being the investor.
Billy thinks she’s blowing it out of proportion. This is exactly where he wants to be!

Sally asks if he still thinks about Chancellor and knocking Victor off his throne.
Billy admits he does, but he’s pushed those feelings way down. He won’t act on those feelings, though, because he doesn’t want to lose her. Sally smiles and kisses him.
Audra walks up and says she’s excited for the re-launch. Is everyone ready to get back to work? She sees there is tension and asks where exactly they see her fitting in now that Billy is back on board.

Billy says that right now her role in the company is “in flux.”
Sally says they have to run their new hires by their investor. Sally doesn’t see it being a problem, but they have to get approval before they finalize Audra’s contract.

Audra asks to meet the investor and lay out her ideas.
Sally says the investor has requested to be anonymous, and even Billy isn’t supposed to know who they are. She promises Audra that things will work out with the investor.
