Daniel sits on the patio in sunglasses, looking wiped out.

Phyllis walks in and sees him. She laughs and grabs the sunglasses off his face. She says it looks like he had a rough night.

Daniel grins. She could say that!

Phyllis jokes that she’s never seen him look so bad. She says he must have gotten caught up in Boston with someone else’s drama and got drunk afterward.

Daniel shakes his head. That’s not what happened.

Danny walks in and asks what happened… Did Tessa see her wife?

Daniel says she did, and it didn’t go as planned. Things with Tessa last night might have gotten a bit out of hand!

Phyllis leans in for the juicy stuff. “How out of hand?”

Daniel says they had a little wine, then a little whiskey.

Danny asks where Lucy and Aria were during this.

Daniel says that Lucy stayed at her friend’s house, and Aria was being taken care of by the nanny. Tessa got a room at the club!

Phyllis says he got drunk with a woman who has feelings for another woman, but what about his heart… Is that hungover, too?

Danny asks why Phyllis can’t just leave Daniel alone. He hopes she wasn’t nosey and judgmental when he told her what he was feeling!

Phyllis can’t believe Danny’s “double standards.” She tells Daniel that this is totally unlike him; he looks like death!
