The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that he might seem like a different guy from the outside, but from within, it seems like he’s the same old Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). That’s because Liam is a character that runs on validation and the thrill that comes with the chase.

If he’s not chasing someone like Hope, then he’s going to chase Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and vice versa.

Simply put, it’s the same game that Liam has been playing for years now. While a lot of people want to think that he’s changed because of his health crisis and the drama that was surrounding it, that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

If Liam truly did change, he would take his time before jumping into another engagement with Hope, right?

Of course, B&B fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “I wasn’t feeling the Hope and Carter relationship but I agree that putting these 2 back together was a boring move.”

“The choices were there to make us cheer for a reunion. They could’ve made it more romantic or sexy or meaningful. But the way it was written was just.. Blah.”

Another critic of the soap wrote, “Probably because the show had a 39 week stretch of record lows for the key demo ratings starting when Thope began and ending when they broke up.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Hope hasn’t been Hope for a very long time. She’s coming back to herself with more experience and knowledge. Liam is doing the same. Neither of them have each other on pedestals anymore.”
