Blossoming new Emmerdale couple make sex decision but have they moved too quickly?

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is currently exploring a new relationship with Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) in Emmerdale – and things are going well!

Belle has been single for the majority of this year, following the ordeal that saw her abused by husband Tom King (James Chase).

When Tom and Belle got together in 2023, it wasn’t long until we started to see signs of dark and worrying behaviour from him.

At first, Tom’s actions were small, but he then became hellbent on isolating Belle from her entire family.

Over the next year, Tom was responsible for installing security cameras in the house, tracking Belle’s every movement, physically and mentally abusing her, as well as pretending her dog Piper had died in an attempt to get close to her again.

Tom was sentenced to prison in 2024 and earlier this year, Belle began divorce proceedings.

After receiving confirmation that her divorce had been completed, Belle decided to dip her toe back into the world of romance by downloading a dating app.

In the café, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) checked out Belle’s account, and decided to swipe right on Kammy’s profile.

Belle was so embarrassed, and it wasn’t long until a giggly Kammy found her and wondered if they should go on a date.

Belle gently told Kammy that she wasn’t really interested, leaving him disappointed.

In the days that followed, Belle and Kammy started hanging out as friends, which was spotted by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

Despite the cold front he puts on when talking to Kammy, Cain actually doesn’t mind him.

He decided to orchestrate an event that led to Kammy and Belle spending more time together. In this moment, Belle realised she did like Kammy after all, and was open to seeing what would happen between them.

Things felt like they were over before they had even really begun a few weeks ago, when Belle learnt that Kammy had attacked Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

This wasn’t true, but because Belle had no reason to not believe Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), she thought she had been spending time with another violent man.

She arrived to see Kammy and told him to stay out of her life.

Belle chose to give Kammy another chance when Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) said that she knew her friend wasn’t capable of hurting Vinny. This, along with a comment from Sam Dingle (James Hooton), left Belle wondering if she had acted too quickly.

She found Kammy once more and decided to continue their journey together.

In future episodes of the ITV soap, the positivity continues for Kammy and Belle as they decide to move to the next stage in their relationship.

So cute.

If anyone deserves happiness it’s Belle Dingle, and given how supportive Kammy has been in Vinny’s storyline, he appears to be a good match for her.

But given this is a soap, and that we are yet to discover more about Kammy’s life away from the village, is it possible the milestone was reached too early?

We love these two, so we’re hoping they stay free from drama for the foreseeable.
