Bold & Beautiful is known for pushing the envelope and asking viewers to suspend disbelief, but some fans are accusing them of taking it way too far with the latest twist in Luna’s story.

In a SOAPS message board thread entitled So How’s This Going to Go? Vixhen kicked off a rant session surrounding the inconceivable twist that’s left Luna living in the lap of luxury rather than behind bars: “Are we supposed to just accept Lunatic remaining free just because she could be pregnant with a Spencer baby?” Speaking at length on how preposterous the sitution had become, the poster fumed, “They want us to suspend all brain functioning…”

Soapy73 agreed,”It’s maddening and all you can think about when watching… put Luna’s butt back in prison so that constant satisfied smirk will be wiped off her face!” We don’t see the lie… how much more of Luna smugly rubbing her tummy can one audience be expected to take?!

Jumping in, Starkllr admitted their mind was likewise blown: “They’re all going to keep it secret that the smirking serial killing rapist who’s committed major felonies against pretty much every one of them, is lounging around by the pool at the Spencer estate for the next nine months until she gives birth? Really?!”

DownUnderGirl, chiming in, was equally irked by Luna getting a free pass because of a positive pregnancy test (or ten): “I don’t understand how Luna is free either? Pregnant women go to jail and they have their babies in jail.” Fair point! Luna has to face more punishment than just a smackdown from Electra.

Leeoski pointed out hopefully, “All it would take is for one person to notify the police. Steffy certainly should. Deacon could and should. Liam should once he finds out.”

SOAPS reader Cooper co-signed, explaining, “Deacon should be calling the cops because everything Luna did — pretending to be a bartender he had hired, serving spiked drinks to Will, entering Will’s room and committing a felony (rape by deception, which is how Luna would likely be charged, is a felony in California) — she did either in his restaurant or on his property, which puts his business in jeopardy.”

So, why the totally unbelievable twist? Like us, Dinonalaska thinks they’ve uncovered the reason behind the madness: “I truly believe they are setting it up for Luna to become murdered — gone for good this time. But if she was in prison, that wouldn’t be able to happen.”
