Cane’s Train Car Becomes the Battleground for Intense Confrontations!”

Billy drops by and Cane asks him if he’s ready to join him yet. Billy says it’s not as easy as saying yes and moving on.

Billy Abbott and Cane Ashby talk in Cane's train car.

Cane says it is that easy… Just say yes, and the dismantling of Newman Enterprises can begin!

Billy apologizes for being late; he had to handle things with Sally.

Cane doubts Sally is convinced; she seemed opposed to Billy signing on with him. They don’t have much time, and things need to be handled quickly. What’s Sally’s main sticking point?

Cane crosses his arms and looks at Billy critically.

Billy says Sally is concerned about Abbott Communications being an afterthought.

Cane says that the company isn’t his main priority… What else?

Billy says that Sally thinks Cane is dangerous and what they’d be doing with the AI is illegal. She’s not on board!

Billy Abbott.

Cane says it may be a gamble, but Billy is a gambler! Billy needs to think about it, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of a relationship that means so much to him! He asks Billy if he wants to back out… Or does he want to bet the house?

Billy thinks Sally may not be on board, but once she sees that his deal benefits her, too, she’ll come around. Right now, though, Sally sees Cane as someone who is corrupting Billy!

Cane wants to make sure that Billy is on board. He warns Billy not to go along with it if he’s going to hurt people he loves.

Cane Ashby.

Billy nods. “Sally will be fine.” He says he is on board… 100%!

Cane’s glad to hear it. He hopes it doesn’t come back to bite Billy where Sally is concerned.

Billy says he’s not done with his pitch… He wants it in writing that he will get Chancellor once they get it from Victor.

Billy Abbott.

Cane says it’s going to be “less than legal” to acquire the company… Does Billy want his name on that sheet of paper?

Billy says he wants to make sure that Cane’s name is on there, too… He wants to make sure he ends up with the grand prize!

Cane thinks he’s trying to prove something to Jill, too. This isn’t about his success… Would Billy really risk everything good in his life to show Jill up?

Cane Ashby.

Billy says that they should leave Jill out of this. If they continue, he’s only going to get angry! Cane made him an offer, and that’s what he wants to focus on. Billy gets Chancellor, and Cane gets Newman Enterprises! He doesn’t want to try to fix the relationship with his mother!

Cane nods. The thought of taking down Newman Enterprises is tantalizing, but he can’t do it right now… The more he talks with Billy, the more nervous he gets. He doesn’t have a vendetta with Victor. When people act on emotion, they lose sight of the prize.

Billy says he hasn’t lost sight and promises he’ll take care of Sally.

Billy and Cane stand on the train as they talk.

Cane doesn’t believe him. Sally won’t hesitate to turn on Billy if he thinks he’s thrown her under the bus. He thinks he might have made a huge mistake trying to bring Billy in on his plans.

Billy assures Cane that Sally won’t be a problem. He bets his life on it! Cane was away for six years and doesn’t know Billy… Billy was here in Genoa City facing his enemies. Taking things personally is Billy’s superpower! He knows what he wants, and he knows how to fight for it. If Cane gives him the software, they’ll watch Victor Newman crumble and beg for mercy!
