Coronation Street revealed on Monday (September 22) that Noah Hedley had died of a heart attack, throwing a massive wrench into the Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton storyline. But is that how he really died? Well, fans aren’t convinced. A common consensus among viewers is that Theo is responsible for Noah’s death… either directly or indirectly.

“Noah dead…….something is off. Theo and Todd have a solid alibi. Hmmmmmmmm,” one X user tweeted, while another viewer commented: “I bet Theo killed Noah. They never showed him die.”

“I doubt Noah had a heart attack. With Theo’s anger issues,” a third fan pondered. “I bet he either battered Noah to the point he later died of his injuries or died on the spot. Gary went after him before so it wouldn’t affect Theo getting access to his kids.”

There are some fans who are following a different line of logic, though. They’re suggesting Theo’s estranged wife (and Noah’s lover) Danielle is lying about the death.

“I’m not convinced Noah is actually dead,” one fan wrote, while another shared: “Okay I don’t think I buy that Noah is actually dead, why do I think it’s a setup!”

Another viewer even predicted that Noah might “come back from the dead in 4 years time”, and someone else shared “an incredibly out there” theory suggested that a character who will be appearing in Emmerdale from next week could be responsible as a setup for the upcoming crossover.

But we’ll just have to wait and see.

Next week will see Theo exhibit some surprising behaviour, both with Danielle and on a night out in the gay village.

However, he bumps into someone from his past, and turns nasty again.
