Victor tells Jack he won’t tell anyone his plans if they’re not named Newman. He asks if Jack thinks Cane really has the AI software he’s claimed.

Jack doesn’t know. He’s only heard this from Victor and Billy. He knows that Cane has come back to town with money and power… Maybe it’s just a threat to get them to do what he wants, but he’s not sure. He gets himself a drink.

Victor wonders why Jill isn’t there yet… Maybe Billy got to her first and has berated her for selling what was hers to sell. Billy could everyone out!

Jack doesn’t think Billy would do that.

Victor says Billy is a player, and family should fall in line.

Billy walks in as they’re talking. “What is this all about?” He says that seeing them hanging out like college buddies is an “end-of-days” situation.

Victor says he and Jack are discussing ways to fend off Cane’s attacks.

Jack nods. He and Victor have worked together before, such as when Claire and Harrison were kidnapped.

Billy thinks Jack seems to trust Victor more than he trusts his own brother.

Jack says he’ll tell Billy the same he told Victor; they need to remove any power that Cane can use against them.

Billy is all for it. Count him in! What’s their plan to take Cane down?

Victor laughs. As if he’d tell Billy so that he could run back to Cane and tell him the whole plan! He thinks he and Jack will have a conversation about this without Billy.

Billy wonders if Jill has something to do with this. He spoke with her already, and she went straight to Cane instead of coming to see family first. He tells them that he told her all about Cane’s plan to take everyone down with the AI , but she didn’t seem to care… Cane is still her favorite!

Victor says they need to change their plans… They’ll divide and conquer!
