EastEnders fans ‘work out’ Albert Square villain to receive ‘redemption’ amid Harry Mitchell twist

EastEnders fans are saying that they’ve ‘worked out’ that an Albert Square villain is to receive ‘redemption’ amid another Harry Mitchell twist.

The son of Nicola and Teddy Mitchell has been held in captivity for two weeks, after getting on the wrong side of Ravi Gulati and his henchman Okie.

Looking to get his close friend Kojo Asare out of trouble, Harry set up secret cameras where they were shipping the drugs from in order to bring them down.

Elijah Holloway’s character, Harry, was quickly caught when someone kidnapped him, and he turned to drugs to escape his current reality.

While Harry was out of action, Okie tried to win Gina Knight’s heart and lied to Harry last week, claiming they were romantically involved.

Earlier in the week, Teddy shared his worries with Billy Mitchell about his son as Okie insisted Harry call Kojo to return to the handlers.

In scenes aired on Wednesday night (October 22), Teddy told Billy he was going off to Cardiff to try and find Harry, not knowing he’s still in Walford.

George Knight’s brother Kojo soon made his way to the flat, where Harry was still feeling the effects of the drugs he took.

Trying to reassure Kojo, Okie offered him some drugs, only for Kojo to secretly spit it out as he appears to be getting ready to prepare a mission to save his friend.

Ravi doesn’t realise that Harry is still being held captive, and he took his family on holiday after discovering that Joel Marshall shared explicit photos of his daughter Avani Nandra-Hart.

Ravi has been at odds in recent months over what he wants from life, trying to make things work with Priya Nandra-Hart in spite of his secret dodgy dealings.

Many EastEnders fans are predicting that Ravi will turn a corner and help Harry. However, not all of them are convinced this is a good direction for the story.

@loverofthings25 said on Reddit: “Okie is awful yes but Ravi is complicit in everything that has happened to Kojo and Ravi. “He must be punished — he can’t simply hand the operations over to Okie and pretend nothing happened; there must be consequences.”@NewCarob9279 added: “Exactly… it’s too late; Ravi should receive his karma.”

@Its_ya_girl_abs_ wrote: “And I bet it’ll be a thing like Harry hates Ravi avoids him at all costs or tries to get revenge then in a years time they’ll forget they hate each other and get on as usual and that everything is normal again. Like Sharon forgiving Ian after trying to kill him.”

@gilestowler commented: “I think his redemption arc will show him fighting back when the dealers — Okie and their bosses — become a bigger threat, forcing him to take them down and confront what he helped create.” I think he’ll also lose Priya and his kids along the way. I think that’s the closest we’ll get to consequences.”
