EastEnders star Tameka Empson has said that it was ‘too soon’ as she made a ‘triggering’ Celebrity Traitors admission.

The Kim Fox actress was one of 19 celebrities who joined Claudia Winkleman in the Scottish Highlands for the BBC series spin-off.

Viewers saw Tameka serve as one of the faithfuls for just three episodes before the players banished her at the roundtable.

The Traitors—Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, and Cat Burns—dumped Tameka as the second faithful despite her innocence.

Scottish actor Mark Bonnar, known for Line of Duty, led the charge against Tameka and was furious to discover he had accused her wrongly.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Tameka provided an insight into how she found her short experience on the programme.

“Well if you didn’t know, now you know! Thank you to #TheCelebrityTraitors for having me, and a BIG THANK YOU to @adsmkelly @annadrives and EVERYONE INVOLVED behind the scenes.

“It was an experience and a half, and a laugh (until the end……). So now I can watch the rest of the show like most of you without the knot in my stomach!!

“Who will be next?…… (your guess is as good as mine). Happy weekend People,” she captioned a black and white image of Traitors’ portrait.

Tameka thanked Scott Mills for the interview and said her appearance on This Morning on October 16 was “triggering.”

“Thank you to @catdeeley @benshephardofficial at @thismorning. Lovely interview but the tables had to go.

“I find the round table triggering since leaving or being banished from the castle; it happened too soon,” she explained.

Having taken part in Gok Wom’s catwalk segment on the ITV breakfast series, Tameka added in a separate post: “Whilst @thismorning @therealgokwan was there doing his fashion segment. “I set up the catwalk—so you know what I did, don’t you?”…. Yes I took the opportunity to flaunt myself.

On This Morning, Tameka jokingly ran off the set after spotting similarities with the Celebrity Traitors’ set.
