Danny looks at his son with concern and asks how he’s feeling.

Daniel doesn’t want to talk about this with them anymore. His phone rings, and he excuses himself to take the call. He answers the phone and tells Tessa she saved him.

Tessa laughs and says she was hit by a whiskey truck last night. She asks if he’d like to have breakfast with her.

Daniel thinks that’s a great idea. He suggests they go to Society, but Tessa says she’d prefer to have breakfast in her suite. Daniel says he’ll be right there. He heads back to his parents and tells them he’s leaving. He leaves without another word.

Phyllis thinks this is bad… Daniel’s heart is still broken from Heather’s death, and now he’s in love with a married woman. How much heartbreak can one person take?
