Love, Lies, and Power Plays Collide Inside the GCAC Dining Room Tonigh

Cane walks into the club, sits at the bar, and orders a scotch. His phone pings with a message. “Phyllis went to Newman ranch. Just left.”

Cane sits at the bar and reads a text message.

Phyllis walks into the club and sees Cane sitting at the bar. She joins him and asks if there’s any news on his AI theft. She hasn’t had any luck hacking into Victor’s systems.

Cane asks if she’s had any luck talking to Victor… Did she strike a deal with him for the AI software?

Phyllis says it hurts her feelings that he had her followed. She says she wanted to get in Victor’s head to find out whether he really did steal the program.

Phyllis looks at Cane.

Cane doesn’t buy it. He knows she went to Victor to cut a deal!

Phyllis scoffs. He’s really jumping to conclusions! If there’s one thing he should know about her, it’s that she’s loyal and proactive. She won’t just sit around and wait for something to happen… Especially if it involves Victor! Besides, if Cane went down, she’d be left in the cold!

Cane says he finds it hard to believe that she didn’t have a contingency plan. He’s sure she already cashed it in with Victor.

Phyllis shakes her head. She went to see what Victor had to say about the software, and she could tell he was behind the theft of Cane’s AI. Now she knows Victor plans to turn the tables on Cane and go after Arabesque.

Cane smirks at Phyllis.
