Jack walks into the office. He’s as surprised to see Michael as Michael is to see him. He wonders if Michael is a friend, or a foe. Did Victor pull Michael back in?
Michael wonders why Jack and Victor are “hanging out” together. Are they friends?
Jack says that he wouldn’t go that far; they’re more like allies.
Victor protests. He hasn’t agreed to that!
Jack tells him to ask his advisor, Michael, and get his take. They need to work against their common enemy, Cane!
Victor says Michael isn’t his advisor. He wouldn’t allow Michael to betray him once again!

Michael begs Victor to give him something to prove to Cane that he’s loyal to him.
Jack agrees. Michael’s the best shot they have!
Victor wonders why he should trust Jack or Michael.
Jack says Victor’s family would suffer if Cane wins. Jabot owns Marchetti, which means Summer would lose out if Cane hit.
Michael sighs. They need to work together or risk losing everything!
Victor wonders what they have to offer.
Jack says Jill is coming to town. Once she finds out what Cane is up to, she’ll do everything she can to help them. He knows Cane wouldn’t have told her about the AI program because he knows that she’d disagree with it.
Michael wonders what happens if Cane feels like he has nothing to lose if Jill comes down on him.
Victor says that’s when Cane would become vulnerable.
Jack thinks Victor is understanding the value of his plan. He urges him to make a decision… They don’t have much time.
Michael wonders if the AI is all talk.
Jack isn’t willing to bet on it. Everything Cane has done is an act of aggression, and they need to end it for good. Is Victor committed to the plan?
Victor says he’ll make up his mind and see how things go when Jill arrives.
