Billy drops in on Cane. He tells him that he heard from Jill, who wants to get together to work things out. He figures Cane is behind Jill’s visit.

Cane asks what he’d get out of Jill sitting down with them and talking. He doesn’t have time for a family conversation, and has no idea what Jill is looking to gain from the meeting.

Billy warns him that he’s going to tell Jill about Cane’s plans to devastate the local business.

Cane shrugs. Billy can tell his mom whatever he wants! She’ll probably be pissed off about his plan, but that won’t deter him… Nothing will stop him!

Billy shakes his head. He can’t figure Cane out; it’s like he had a personality split when he was Aristotle Dumas. He asks when things are going to start… He hasn’t seen any effects yet! When does the show begin? Is he trying to make everyone in town nervous about the attack that never happens?

Cane grins. That wouldn’t be a bad idea! He won’t admit anything, though.

Billy thinks Cane is in over his head. If he follows through with his AI plan, it’ll only push away his children!

Cane says that’s interesting coming from Billy, who was willing to give up everything to get Chancellor back.

Billy says he wasn’t willing to give up his children. His motivation was revenge on Jill and Victor… What’s Cane’s motivation?

Cane says he doesn’t need to explain himself to Billy. Why does he even care?

Billy says that he built an empire, but at what cost? He lost his children, family, and friends! He needs to stop, get off the train, and fix his relationships!

Cane says that he told Billy to fix things with Sally, but he’s done nothing. Does Billy think he likes pushing people away and making them hate him? That’s not who he is!

Billy tells him to prove it and get his act together.

Cane says he’ll meet Billy half-way and prove that his intentions are good… He’s willing to make a deal.

Billy isn’t sure he should even listen to Cane, considering the way their last deal fell through. This isn’t about business… It’s personal. He’ll try again with his kids if Billy gives his best shot with his mom. Jill is devastated that Billy cut her out of his life!

Jill walks in as they’re talking. “You hurt me more than you’ll ever know, Billy!”
