Victoria and Nikki are shocked and wonder what happened.

Claire says this is her first relationship, and she needs to branch out.

Nikki hopes it’s not about Victor’s opinions on Kyle.

Claire says she’s just not emotionally ready for it. She needs to learn how to live before she can love. She jumped into a serious relationship too early, and she had to end things between them.

Victoria knows that Claire still has feelings for Kyle; maybe she’s being impulsive!

Claire needs to be impulsive right now; she can’t live her life based on everyone else’s opinions!

Victoria wonders how Kyle feels about this.

Diane walks into the restaurant and overhears her son’s name being mentioned.

Claire says the relationship is over and that Kyle does not get a vote. She thinks she should have a gentle talk with Harrison, though.

Diane wanders over to their table and asks Claire if she heard her correctly… Did she break up with Kyle?

Claire admits she did.

Diane says she supported Claire through this all… Doesn’t she know that she’s going to break Kyle’s heart if she goes through with this?

Nikki tells Diane to keep her nose out of this; this is Claire’s decision!

Diane says that Kyle made mistakes, but everything he did was for Claire.

Victoria laughs. Did Kyle kiss Audra for Claire?

Diane says that’s kind of true; Kyle was trying to prove what Audra was up to. Victor was trying to drive them apart; he’s not a saint either. She says Kyle loves her.

Claire knows he loves her; she’s doing this because she doesn’t know how to love a man like Kyle, and that’s not fair to either of them.

Diane sniffs and heads over to pick up her takeout, then leaves the restaurant with it.

Claire is sorry that Diane had to learn about the breakup this way.

Victoria thinks they should change the subject. What is Claire planning to do in LA?

Claire says that Holden is there on business and has offered to show her around.

Nikki remembers meeting Holden, but he was introduced to her as Damian.

Claire says not to hold that against Holden; he’s a good guy who’s loyal!

Victoria smiles and says she found him charming, too, and saw that Claire seemed taken with him!

Claire says she’s friends with Holden, and nothing more. She’s never been to California and can’t wait to see it, and Holden has offered her a stress-free break in LA.
