Suranne Jones takes filming break from Vigil for treatments at Glasgow clinic
Actress Suranne Jones delighted staff at a Glasgow clinic as she popped in for some treatments.
The former Corrie star was in Scotland filming the new series of Vigil when she stopped off for a pamper during dome downtime.
The 47-year-old was snapped in the luxury clinic as she had a full skin analysis, posing with therapists Jasmin and Annemarie.
Posting on Instagram, the clinic said they were delighted to welcome the actress to Glasgow, they wrote: “Delighted to have welcomed the incredible @suranne_jones into clinic today for a Skin Analysis, Full Body Lymphatic Massage, and our signature Red Carpet Restore with the incredible team. A luxurious, results-driven experience for ultimate glow and rejuvenation!”

Jasmin took a detailed skin scan showing the quality and ageing process of the skin and Anne Marie tailored a bespoke facial with lymphatic drainage and massage.“
And fans were delighted to see the star in Glasgow.

Suranne Jones and Rose Leslie are returning as DCI Amy Silva and DI Kirsten Longacre in the new series. The six-part series will see the duo take on a new case in a remote Arctic research station, where a member of a covert British special forces mission has been shot dead.
The synopsis adds: “Amy and Kirsten will need to catch the killer and diffuse a potential international confrontation, driven by a land-grab for energy and resources in the changing polar climate, with both their careers and relationship on the line.”
In the first-look picture, we can see Jones and Leslie on location, wrapped up and ready to go. The snowy location certainly makes for a fitting backdrop to tell an eerie new story.
Gary Lewis returns to reprise his role as Detective Superintendent Robertson, who has appeared across all series of Vigil so far. Dominic Mafham also returns as Sir Ian Downing and Orla Russell returns as Poppy, Amy and Kirsten’s daughter.
The new cast for the third series also includes Jeppe Beck Laursen, Tornike Gogrichiani , Benjamin Wainwrigh, Artur Zai Barrera, Jordan Duvigneau and Kaisa Hammarlund.
As well as Adam Fidusiewicz, Naomi Yang, Eric Godon, Conor Berry, Amy Manson, Jason Tobin, Steven Cree, Derek Riddell , Alma Prelec and Shereen Cutkelvin.
Details around all of their roles remain under wraps but we can assume they will all be caught up in the new mystery and may have the eye of suspicion rest on them.
On the announcement of production getting under way and the new cast, writer Tom Edge said: “I’m grateful to the BBC and World Productions for backing the ambition of a story that takes Vigil to the Arctic.
