The LA Hotel’s Café: Where Secrets Are Spilled Faster Than the Coffee
Victoria and Claire talk over a nice salad. Victoria lets her know that Noah is awake and recovering, and Nick can take a deep breath and relax.

Claire’s happy. She’s been having a nice, relaxing time. She’s spent a lot of time with Holden and has learned a lot, too. It’s made her realize what she wants and doesn’t want. She came to LA for an adventure, and she got it! She doesn’t regret any of it and she’s glad she came, but she wonders if she went a little too wild.
Victoria asks if Holden led her astray.
Claire says he didn’t… Every choice she made was her own. She decided to stop being an observer in her life and to dive right in! She thinks Holden lives life on the edge, and she’s not sure if she wants to live that life! Trouble seems to find him.

Victoria says she’s going to be straight with her. She doesn’t care about Holden, she cares about her daughter, and wonders if Claire did something she can’t come back from.
Claire grins and says she didn’t do anything she can’t come back from. This trip has made her question where she goes from here… And with whom! Holden was what she needed, but he’s not “the one”.
Victoria asks where Kyle fits into it.

Claire says she loves Kyle and there’s a part of her that will always love him, but she’s not ready for the commitment he wants… Getting married and moving in together seems like too much, too quickly.
Victoria nods and tells her daughter she needs to tell Kyle that as soon as possible.
Claire says she’ll talk to Kyle as soon as she gets home. They reminisce about Cole and publishing. She says she doesn’t want to climb the Newman corporate ladder; she just wants her mom to be proud of her!
Victoria smiles and takes her hand. She is proud of her!

Claire prepares to leave.
Holden shows up and asks if she’d like to share a ride to the airport… He’s decided to go back to Genoa City, too. They must be on the same flight; what a happy coincidence!
