Victor walks in and smiles when he sees Jill. He thanks her for coming and hopes Nikki treated him with grace.

Nikki says she tried her best, but Jill is very particular!

Jill shrugs. She knows what she wants.

Victor laughs. “Don’t we all!”

They have a seat, and Nikki says that she and Jill were having a “fascinating” conversation about Cane’s homecoming, and Jill seems to be ready to give Cane the benefit of the doubt.

Victor thinks what he is going to say will change Jill’s mind.

Jill laughs. “Don’t count on it.”
