Victoria sees her dad flipping through a book and asks him if it’s “The Art of War.”

Victor laughs. It is the Art of War… Cole gave him the book as a gift.

They talk about Cole and life for a bit until talk turns to Cane’s attacks.

Victor says Cane hasn’t given into any of his demands; he has to destroy him! Once Adam and Chelsea are back in town, they’ll dump all the information they have about Cane’s stolen fortune and chateau!

Victoria nods. She knows that will ruin Cane’s reputation. She doesn’t see him disappearing from the corporate world completely, but he’s got billions of dollars!

Victor scoffs. Cane isn’t a real businessman; once the media releases go out, Cane will be known as a charlatan.

Victoria hopes things won’t get worse because of it. She says that Cane may have nothing to lose. If they carry out their threat, he may follow through on his.

Victoria wonders what phase two is. Does it have something to do with the truce he made with Jack? She quotes from “The Art of War”.

Victor is amused that she’s read the book. He asks what she thinks he’s going to do.

Victoria thinks he’ll wait for Jill’s reaction and make his decision about working with Jack. Does he think she’ll side with Cane, or with them?

Victor shrugs. Either way, it’ll work out for them!

Victoria is surprised he’s going to be working with Jack.
