Esther tells Sharon she’s still in shock that Chance died… They have to keep their loved ones close! She’s happy Sharon and Nick are going to LA to see Noah.

Sharon says it’s not going to be a full-on vacation since she’ll be working, too.

Esther grins. She’ll keep the coffeehouse under control while Sharon’s gone. She tells her to get to the airport so she doesn’t miss her flight and heads to the office in the back.

Tessa and Daniel walk in and tell Sharon that they found out something about Mariah.

Sharon’s been a nervous wreck about what they might find out… What was it?

Tessa says they have some answers, and it’s not good… Sharon’s not going to like what they’re about to tell her! They have a seat and said the hotel wasn’t seedy, but they showed Mariah’s photo to a bartender and he recognized her.

Daniel says that the bartender told them that Mariah was at the bar and was approached by an older man. They had drinks together and had an “instant connection.”

Sharon thinks it makes sense. Mariah was alone, maybe she was lonely!

Daniel says it seemed like more than that; Mariah and the man were getting intimate and left to go up to one of their rooms.

Sharon was afraid it was something like that, though Mariah denied it.

Tessa says they didn’t sleep together… It’s much worse than that!

Sharon can’t imagine what could be worse… Do they know who this man is?

Tessa nods. They got a description and a name. “Will Hensley.” She shows Sharon a picture of him that they’d found on the internet.

Sharon is surprised. He’s older than she expected.

Daniel says the staff remembered he checked out early that night and seemed scared.

Sharon wonders if Will Hensley tried to hurt Mariah.

Tessa says they’re not sure. That’s all they know, but the last thing Mariah told her before she left for Boston is that she had tried to kill someone… It’s not a stretch to think that this man is the one that Mariah tried to murder!

Sharon can’t believe it. Mariah would never try to hurt someone! Maybe this man tried to hurt her and she retaliated?

Tessa says that Mariah explained that she got drunk because of the memories of Ian Ward. Maybe this older man triggered Mariah’s memories of Ian and she acted out.

Daniel has a theory… Mariah didn’t kill this guy, but it’s possible that this man might be looking for retribution and knows Mariah’s name and where she is… Could Mariah be in danger?
