Tommy hides Joel after attack on Vicki – but an EastEnders legend is on to him
EastEnders’ Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) has ignored countless warnings to stay away from misogynistic friend Joel Marshall (Max Murray) – something he may live to regret after being dragged into the aftermath of Joel’s attack on Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) next week.
Thursday’s episode of the BBC soap saw Joel violently attack his stepmother as his temper boiled over in the aftermath of an incident involving him and Tommy at school.
But Tommy is further caught up in Joel’s behaviour and finds himself on the wrong side of the law when he agrees to hide his friend after his attack on Vicki.
Fans will see the fallout from the incident continue on Monday, as Vicki flees to seek help at The Vic.

As people rally round her, Tommy then sneaks out of the pub to meet Joel, who asks for his help.
With Joel having played down the severity of his attack on Vicki, Tommy agrees to hide him in the Slaters’ garage – not realising that someone is on to them.
That person is none other than Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), who, sensing Tommy is protecting Joel, tries to talk to him, but Tommy refuses to reveal his friend’s whereabouts.
Can Zoe make her half-brother see sense? And will it serve as a bonding point for the estranged siblings?
Meanwhile, Vicki is rushed to hospital with the vicious injuries inflicted upon her.

Her partner and Joel’s dad Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) is horrified to learn of her attack, but attempts to shut down rumours that Joel is responsible.
But as Vicki starts to recover, tensions flare between the couple as they discuss Joel.
So far, Ross has failed to get a handle on his son’s out-of-control behaviour, making constant excuses for him and forgiving him at every turn.
Clearly out of his depth, will Ross finally wake up and see Joel for what he really is?
