Tessa says the drinks aren’t helping; she’s still remembering what she wanted to forget!

Daniel wishes they had their guitars with them… If they made music together, it might help her forget, even for a while.
Tessa nods. She thinks they should call it a night; she doesn’t want to wait for the food. She stands up, but stumbles drunkenly. Daniel holds her and sits her back down. Tessa sighs. “Why did Mariah have to do this to us?!”

A bit later, Daniel leads Tessa to the stairs leading to the suites.
Tessa thanks him and stumbles. She looks into his eyes and says he’s holding her like he would hold a close friend. She kisses him, and Daniel responds, kissing her back tenderly.
