On today’s Young and the Restless (Monday, September 15, 2025), the drama heats up as Victoria gives her daughter some tough love about her relationship with Kyle and his possessive behavior. Phyllis goes head-to-head with Michael, who has a secret that could jeopardize his relationship with his wife, and while Cane plots his next move, Amanda gets to work on a new, risky assignment.
Chancellor Park
Victoria and Claire walk through the park, and Victoria asks her daughter if things are still tense with Kyle.
Claire says Kyle keeps digging the hole deeper.
Victoria already thought Kyle was already in deep… What’s he done now?
Claire tells her mom about Kyle’s $5 million contract he signed with Victor.
Victoria’s not surprised or happy that Victor did this. She wonders why Kyle would make such a gesture. He’s put a lot on the line to prove his devotion to her!
CBS
Claire says Kyle made these decisions about their life together without her. She confronted him about it, but if she hadn’t, she doesn’t think Kyle would have said anything about it. This isn’t the Kyle she thought she knew! He can’t stop doing one upsetting thing after another!
Victoria says Kyle is terrified of losing her, which means that he really is in love with her.
Claire would like to believe that Kyle does truly love her, but… What if he loves her too much? He seems too possessive lately; she says she made friends with Holden, who helped her through Cole’s death, and Kyle hates that she’s friends with him.
CBS
Victoria says nobody should dictate who Claire is friends with, but she understands.
Claire says Kyle should be able to handle it… It’s not his first relationship! He was close with Summer, too.
Victoria says she had a conversation with Kyle about this… Kyle had told her that he’d never felt this kind of love in any previous relationship before.
CBS
Claire’s blown away. Kyle hadn’t felt this way about anyone before?
Victoria nods. If Claire thinks this love could be a lasting love, she should try to see this through. She says that some men fight their feelings and don’t know how to control thems. He probably feels mortified with how things turned out; she got the feeling that Kyle is full of regret. She needs to give him some time to see if he can grow from this, unless he’s broken her trust beyond repair.
Crimson Lights
Kyle runs into Nate in the cafe. He wonders if Nate blames him for his breakup with Audra and hopes he’s not about to get punched in the face.
CBS
Nate says he’s not throwing any punches… They’re both victims of Audra and Victor.
Kyle’s glad he’s not getting punched. Audra seems to have shown her true colors. He thought Audra was changing for the better.
ate nods. He thought so, too. He thinks Claire is the real victim in all of this.
Kyle agrees. He asks Nate how well he knows Holden Novak.
CBS
Nate doesn’t know much about him, but he’s not a fan… It’s obvious Holden hasn’t gotten over his previous relationship with Audra. He thinks Holden is bad news, and whatever happened in L.A. seems questionable.
Kyle nods. He doesn’t trust Holden either, and he doesn’t like the way he’s seemed to target Claire.
Nate thinks Claire is too smart to fall for Holden’s charms… And she’s in love with Kyle, isn’t she?
CBS
Kyle says Audra has caused tension between them, but he’s sure they’ll find a way through it. He thinks Holden is taking advantage of Claire’s vulnerable state.
Nate thinks Holden would have made a move on Audra, too, if he thought things weren’t solid between them.
Kyle is sorry Nate’s going through this. He would have warned Nate if he’d known Audra was getting her claws into him.
Nate says a lot of people did warn him, but he didn’t listen. He’s better off without her!
